  • HOW DO I RATE SOMEBODY?
    You can rate any athlete in a sport that you also have a sport profile in. To rate an athlete you need to search for them using the search tab (Eyeglass icon). When you find the athlete and select them, you will see a floating white "Rate" button with a star on it. Press this button. You can now slide the rating scale to the appropriate level you believe applies to the athlete. When you have completed each slide, press the blue button that says "Rate 'athlete name'." You have now completed a rating for that athlete.
  • WHERE DID THE "RATE" BUTTON GO?"
    If you have already entered a rating for an athlete, the "Rate" button will disappear until 30 days have passed. You can only rate an athlete one time in 30 days. After 30 days has passed, the button will display again and you can enter another rating.
  • WHAT ARE RATINGS, RATED, AND VIEWS?"
    Ratings is a counter of the number of times you completed a rating for another athlete in the selected sport. Rated is the counter of the number of times you have been rated by somebody else in the selected sport. Views are the number of times your profile has been viewed by somebody else in the selected sport.
  • WHAT IS THE RATING COMPARISON GRAPH?
    The Rating Comparison graph allows you to visually see how your sport specific skill category ratings compare between your Self-Rating and Social rating (ratings submitted by other athletes within the selected sport).
  • HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN I CAN RATE SOMEBODY AGAIN?
    The Rate button will display only when you are able to rate somebody. If the Rate button is not displayed then you are still in the 30 day countdown until you can rate them again.
  • WHY CAN I ONLY RATE SOMEBODY ONE TIME IN 30 DAYS?
    The primary reason for this is to ensure that the athlete has had adequate time to work on and practice their skills so as to show improvement since the last time you rated this athlete.
  • WHAT ARE TEAMS?
    Teams is an identifiable field on the profile page which provides a way to find an athlete when searching. Teams can display the current teams an athlete is a part of as well as prior teams an athlete was a part of.
  • DO I NEED TO ENTER ALL OF THE INFORMATION FIELDS TO ADD A TEAM?
    Ideally, yes. If you do not enter all of the information then you will not be connected to a team. If you enter information incorrectly, that will create a "new" or "different" team then your existing teammates are already on. You can edit this information anytime.
  • WHAT IS A PRIMAYR TEAM VS. ACTIVE TEAM VS. INACTIVE TEAM?
    The Primary team is the team that will display on your profile when you view your home screen and when others see you in search results in the app. An Active team is any team you have indicated as such and this means you are currently playing with that team. You can have as many Active teams as you need, but only one Primary team. An Inactive team is any team you used to play with and are not currently playing with.
  • HOW DO I SEARCH FOR SOMEBODY?
    First step is to select the eyeglass icon at the bottom of the app. Once in the search tab of the app you can search for athletes by entering any one, or multiple pieces of information available from the search fields provided.
  • HOW DO I SEARCH FOR SOMEBODY I DO NOT KNOW?
    You can find athletes you may not know in a number of ways. One example is to try searching for their team name and/or jersey number they wear.
  • HOW DO I FIND MY TEAMMATES?
    We recommend that you find your teammates but searching for their name or your team name in the Search tab at the bottom of the app. You can also find your teammates a number of other ways using the Search tab.
  • WHAT DO THE LITTLE "s" AND "a" STAND FOR?"
    The "s" stands for "sport" and the "a" stands for "athlete." These help identify when you are viewing your rating that is sport specific, which can be different between sports, or based on athletic metrics, which remain the same across all sports.
  • WHAT DOES "aRs" STAND FOR?"
    "aRs" is an acronym for the app name, which is Athlete Rating System.
  • WHAT ARE ROLES?
    Roles are the different ways a person can be connected to or involved in a sport.
  • HOW DO I RESET MY PASSWORD?
    You can reset your password by going to the Account section in the menu that is located at the top left of the app. Once here, you can tap on your current hidden password. Enter your current password and press the "verify" button. You can now enter your new password.
  • I FORGOT MY PASSWORD, HOW DO I RETRIEVE IT?"
    While logged in to your profile: To retrieve a password, go to your Account section in the Menu located at the top left of the app. Tap on your current hidden password. In the pop up screen, press the "Retrieve" button and follow the steps sent to your account email. While logged out of the app and at the sign in screen: Tap on the "Retrieve Password" button and follow the steps provided.
